Our Horses

We have approximately 50 horses on two separate pieces of land located on Fruitland Mesa outside of the city of Crawford, Colorado.

Adoptions - these are horses that are either available or will soon be available to adopt.
Sanctuary - We provide sanctuary for all of our horses that can not complete our rehabilitation/training efforts. Each sanctuary horse has a good reason for being here. Whether it be physical or mental limitations that prevent them from moving on to second careers, they will never again know hunger, fear, or anger from a human again. They will live out the remainder of their lives here at Spirit Wind as part of "The Herd." Click here to read their stories.
